I Hate Art

I'm so frustrated with art and fashion. Whenever some cool counter culture is created, big businesses jump on it and make it mainstream.

There is no counter culture anymore. I don't know what to buy anymore.

Stupid corporations.

I hate it. I can't find any originality anymore, and even more frightening is that I can't find a way to be original. What you wear tells a lot about who you are, and I can't establish who I am with the fashion out there. How can I be individualistic when individuality is the fashion?

For some reason, I have an overwhelming need to be a nonconformist... a sanction from everything within myself.

I can still appreciate art, and I love the cathartic experience of painting and drawing, but I find modern art so pretentious.
And following the fashion is so pretentious. Anything you wear is criticized, and the "I don't care what people think" style has become fashionable.

Really, you can't win.
